USDPSWAP / POLICY
Privacy
Effective 1 October 2026
A swap can involve sensitive information. This page explains what USDPSWAP collects, why we need it, and who else may handle it. The Monero step protects information on that part of the route; it does not make the whole service or the other networks anonymous.
What we collect
When you request a quote or open a swap, we handle the assets, networks and amounts you choose; destination and refund addresses; the order ID; provider exchange IDs; transaction hashes; and order status. The service needs those records to route, monitor and support the swap.
If you use the contact form, we keep the name, email address, topic, order ID and message you submit. Please do not send a recovery phrase, private key, password or security PIN.
Referral partners provide an account name, public referral name, password and security PIN. We store protected password and PIN records, session information, referral activity and payout requests, including a WhatsApp number if one is supplied for a payout.
Our hosting and security services may also process technical information such as IP address, browser details, request time and error logs.
Why we use it
We use this information to show quotes, create and track orders, match deposits, arrange payouts or refunds where possible, answer support requests, protect the service against abuse, manage referral accounts and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not ask swap customers to create an account for the Via Monero route.
Browser storage and cookies
The site uses a session cookie to keep an order tied to your browser. Referral accounts use a separate sign-in cookie. Your browser may also store the active order ID locally. If you follow a referral link or enter a code, we save that code in local storage for up to 30 days so it can be applied to a later quote; the latest valid code replaces the previous one. You can clear the code in the swap form or clear browser storage. Clearing browser data can also remove your local order reference, so save your order ID separately.
We count page views and quote requests with first-party analytics. These analytics use a random browser-tab identifier in session storage and do not set an analytics cookie or store wallet addresses, deposit addresses or IP addresses in the analytics event table. The site's other session cookies and the hosting provider's security logs are separate from these analytics.
Who handles the information
We use ChangeNOW for exchange orders, Cloudflare for hosting and security, and a database service for order, support and referral records. A provider receives the transaction details it needs to perform its part of the route and applies its own policies. ChangeNOW may carry out checks under its privacy policy and terms. We may disclose records where required by law or needed to investigate fraud or a dispute.
How long records stay
We keep order, support and referral records for as long as needed to run the service, handle disputes and meet legal requirements. Technical logs may be kept for shorter periods by our hosting provider. We do not promise that a blockchain transaction can be erased: records written to a public network remain on that network.
Your choices
You can use the site without opening a swap. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings. To ask for access, correction or deletion of information we hold, use the contact form. We will review the request and explain if records must be kept for a legal or transaction-related reason.
Security and changes
We restrict access to operational records and use security controls for the site and its accounts. No online service can promise that information is never exposed. If this policy changes, we will update the date above and publish the revised text here.
Questions?
Send a message through Contact & complaints. Include an order ID if your question concerns a swap, but never include wallet secrets.
